same as resolution, does not matter. The virtual screensize always fits.

Screen of my HUD actually in game. Seems good. Didn't realize that queued units show up on bottom now so I may have some editing to do.

nice! What about making the grid on the right transparant so you can look through it?

I know I does obscure the view a bit but, It dosen't look that good to me if it was completely transparent. I wonder if png could do semi-transparencies... Not sure...

Yes it can, I do it all the time.  :)

And here is a hud I made for British:

Awesome huds! I agree with the transparency though...the problem with some of these huds, or probably future huds is that they block the view of the game too much. If we could apply Conzar's old patch and modify it a bit and the change the hud it'd be awesome.

To clarify, 32 bit PNGs can have partial transparency. Images could use differing number of bits, either 8-bit (256 colors, one transparency channel), 24 bit (true color, no transparency), or 32 bit (true color with full transparency abilities). Perhaps the transparency could be controlled by the user, so they could turn it fully transparent to turn it "off", fully opaque for the default, true image, 50% transparent, etc...

this doesn't seem to work for me, probably as I am using 3.5.3_dev?
