Dropbox

What would be the best way to store a mod on Dropbox, as individual files in the original folder structure, or as an archive (7zip)? I noticed you can download folders, but didn't actually test how well that would go, especially with such large folders that mods would have, and there would probably be questionable compression quality. Still, opinions?

I have my entire Glest working directory in my Dropbox in a playable structure, so every file is immediately backed up in real time whenever I save it, and I have all my synced addons linked to my ~/.glestadv/addons/ folder so they're playable.  This sort of instant backup is great because my computer could explode right now and even the work I (hypothetically) saved five minutes ago would be safe and backed up.  For Project Red, I have a simple script to sync the relevant folders in my Dropbox with my Github repo.

At the end of every other day I package my current mod directory in a zip, and add it to dropbox folder. So i would have multiple versions from past 2 weeks or so, in case for whatever reason i need to revert a change (eg breaking the ai or something).

You know Dropbox keeps previous versions anyway, right?

For some reason my Dropbox hasn't been working lately  :-[ I'm waiting for the support people to get back to me.
It's kinda slowed my progress on any work :(
