What would be nice is each individual unit in G3D or Blender Render picture, side front and top view. Then we could give you more accurate criticism on what would need to be imrpove. Ideal would be .gif images to show off animation aswell, but that could get a little..hard ;)

Needs better flow and have a look at bone and muscle walking simulators, you will see it is very mcuh heavier than what is represented here.



Add weight and make it so the legs move naturally and not sliding on the ground.

Other than that looks good.

Needs more flow

Small technical detail.  Those gifs are 10fps  (and 10fps is extravagant for filesize)

The real engines - Glest, MG and GAE - all interpolate additional frames if your graphics card draws faster.  And they pay attention to the speeds specified in the xml etc.

So these gifs are not so representative in the smoothness camp.

I am very pleased that the tool worked, and that the instructions worked (any gotchas or omissions in instructions, please add to tools thread),

AND THESE DINOSAURS LOOK GREAT!





perhaps this brontosaurus ought to be noticeably larger and bulkier than the others?



Does it harvest wood?  Surely a dinosaur faction only harvests wood (and at a prodigious rate so they are major deforesters) perhaps?

The brontosaurus is very big and bulky in game (You can't tell from the thumb_nail) and yes, it is a late game unit that harvests trees at a quick rate.

All the Carnivores are fighter units, and some of the Herbivores can harvest. So I would like need 2 workers, and way more units.

Its a deinonychus, it is small in game so I made its teeth bigger so you can see them.

you know, i think that the dinosaurs should be a mini-faction on the map. like, the lovechild of a normal glest faction and a glestimal.

so, they would be a neutral faction on the map (since they arent big enough to be a true faction)
