Error running newly compiled exe

1. compiled successfull.

2. moved glesksrc.exe to the game in program files.

3. moved xerces-c_2_6.dll to the program files too.

4. ran glesksrc.exe but get an error straight away here : http://www.siegewars.co.uk/error.jpg

help would be appreciated.

edit : it looks like this has something to do with it : http://www.glest.org/board/viewtopic.ph ... heckglcaps

however i tested the game first before compile and i could run and play it fine.

hm looks like compiling the current source (which does), doesnt work with the current game files.

Had errors relating to these so far. When i add them to the glest.ini file as =0 the game does start to run but at the point of loading in the maps says error opening files maps/*.gbm

odd seeing the map directory isnt called maps.

ShadowAlpha=0
ShadowFrameSkip=0
ShadowTextureSize=0
CheckGlCaps=0
FirstTime=0

its probably cos i shouldnt put those to 0

can anyone shed some light, i get the feeling the game ini file has missing parts like the above for new compiled source

?

edited : oddly my new ini file works with the original exe file.

The problem is that the source code available at sourceforge is for version 1.1.0-rc1 and this variable was added later. I will no more release the source code in sourceforge as a package for release candidates, you will have to get it from the CVS.
