good start. Somehow looks quite simplistic, maybe more robotic? Also, maybe more legs, and complex textures?

Also, maybe the Scrobo could be adapted to be a worker unit, with more mechanical pincers and carrying loads on its back?

In the absence of any volunteered building models, I've added the first building using the insect/mech theme.

It's a production facility for building mechs. Still many details to add.

The latest units added is the Mech Carrier, a bit like a flying aircraft carrier. It launches Swarm Fighters, with their model made by Wciow (https://forum.megaglest.org/index.php?topic=7303.msg74860#msg74860). The Mech Carrier is a bit like the Alliance's super weapon so launch rate is limited by EP and the swarm fighters die after a minute or so. Maybe we should limit the number of carriers you can have also.

The Swarm fighter was originally intended for industarons but the spawn attack is a new feature and they already have the Heavy Missile super weapon

Added worker and Base building. The worker is based somewhat on Scrobo unit. It sort of bridges the stylistic gap between the Scrobo and the Kumo-Mech. Scrobo still basic infantry.

Still need a Barracks equiv to ensure similar build tree to other two factions (more balanced).

Well the tripods in the Martian Faction are quite different. It's like saying Elves shouldn't have Archers because Tech already does.

I made this a few months back for the now defunct GIS project so it will need a bit of re-skinning into yellow/blue camo colours.

Assuming something is defunct when you don't know the details are stupid.

The Gis project is in no way stopped.

im just not copy pasting other units,im actually trying to make something different and fun.

not just another mg clone.

Is the sifi pack finshed? Will u still going to work on these?  My main criticism of the pack is the game speed. It takes forever to get ur base up and going, soo much waiting time. Perhapse build times should be faster?

You are not the only person to comment on build times, will look at speeding things up a bit but that means changing a lot of xmls and don't want to go too far the other way

Whoa, MegaGlest is at version 5 already? I should pay more attention. I thought it was a typo at first until I realized it occurred twice! :P
