[done] multiplayer game name
« on: 27 September 2011, 23:47:56 »
This should be settable by the one who opens the server.
Headless servers should show that they are headless inside their name .

In my opinion, 'headless' should be a boolean value stored within a separate database column, but I agree very much with the idea of making the server name configurable. ;-)

Thinking about this more, it would be great if there also was a way for servers admins to leave a message of the day for the people joining the server. I know that's difficult in terms of screen space, though - the custom game menu is already quite overloaded. So I think such as message - only if one is set (in the INI?) - could be done as a popup / warning message window for now.

The original request is done now.
And if a headless server is "controlled" by the first connected player his name is shown too in the game name.
