Hi guys i just tried to play a game 2vs2 with 3 other guys, after the loading of the factions i got the message "waiting for players:" but no name was shown, after 80 seconds of waiting the game started but i got an error message something like that "error detected" and the game was paused. I also took a screenshot but i can't find it. Im on ubuntu lucid lynx 10.04 32bit using megaglest 3.5.2. I dont know if this is a bug or not if it is i hope you can fix it, if it is not a bug sorry for the false report. Greetings :)

I got the error again and when i closed mg i saw that my internet was disconnected so probably it was that. Before probably it automatically reconnected before i could check if it was an internet problem. If so, this is not a bug sorry :)

If your client doesn't list the player you are waiting for then you are actually waiting for the server - which is something which could be spelled out better. Do you want me to move this thread to feature requests?

Anyway, what you describe sounds like a slow server, followed by a disconnect due to networking issues.

Well i think the bug (if it was a bug) was that mg didnt show who we were waiting , while usually if you have to wait a player you get his name. If someone can explain me why i didnt see who i was waiting at thank you ^^

Players who host a game always see who you are waiting for. Other players (clients) only see who you are waiting for if the host has finished loading and is waiting for clients, because all things are in reference to the host. If you are  waiting for the host you will not see player names, otherwise you will see player names.

It would probably be possible to print "waiting for server" on the screen of a client as long as it is waiting for the server to tell it which player it is waiting for, wouldn't it? I guess this would be nicer than an empty string. Still, I don't consider it a bug.
