Suggestions: Automatic unit production, market, diplomacy

i have 3 ideas that i want to share with you - when i had windows one day there was a game called stronghold legends it has an automatic army produce (automatic limiter ) produce infenary automatically when you have the needed gold  - really usefull when you are busy wiyh fighting :)
 the second is market - why the game hasnt market to bye food ,wood.stone.etc - and it can be with all team players too
the 3rd we can we make nagogiation - the enemy became neutral when i give him gold for a limited time

Regarding the market, this has been requested before (search the feature requests).

I think the suggestions are both good ones fir consideration for future releases. For MG it's not just a question of adding copycat functionality, there's the opportunity to do things better than other games, or in ways that fit I to the rest if the engine and gameplay better.

Buying commodities is could maybe be on a randomly fluctuating market price with parameters  set in the tech tree's resource XML.

I moved this to feature requests, the correct board, as Tom mentioned. On a side note, all feature requests should be just one request per thread, to prevent topics from getting side tracked, and the issue with stating something as "done" when there is more than one subject. In addition, you should consider using more depth, and search for existing feature requests before posting.

While the requests have potential, making an AI to give even half decent diplomacy is very difficult. Just take a look at civilization 4, for example. It's far from perfect, yet the best there is, and it's the work of a massive development team. Our AI gets stumped by a strange curve in a map, it's a looong way from negotiating with a human. As for a market, it's possible for a base market to exist in mods by trading one resource for another, if the modder decides to create it, though having some type of multi-player market would be considerably more complex.

Well I don't really like the idea of "producing army automatically" because then the game would be too easy. Building army while fighting is part of the being good at the game. Second and third one would be cool, you can make a treaty with the AI right now but no trading resources.

Yeah, it's an interesting idea but I think it might fundamentally change the way MG plays, which is dangerous ground because a lot of us really like the way it plays right now.
