[lacks info] language error when starting Megaglest
« on: 21 December 2011, 15:30:01 »
version V3.6.0.2
i previously had the version V3.6.0, then saw the V3.6.0.2 was out, so i went to http://megaglest.org/ and and downloaded the v.3.6.0.2 with the previous version V3.6.0 still installed, after the V3.6.0.2 has finished i installed it and then i realised i forgot to uninstall the V3.6.0, but anyway  a messaged came up and asked me if i wanted to uninstall the V3.6.0 in order to install the V3.6.0.2 so i said uninstall the previous version first.
It uninstalled, and installed the V3.6.0.2 - when finished installing it, i tried to open it to play, but an error message came up in the black box, some error about lanuage so i closed it and after that a null error message came up aswell.
I tried uninstalling all the megaglest files i had on my computer and deleting it, I then tried installing it again with all the Megaglest files uninstalled. After it was installed, i tried to play again and then the error message was no where to be found

i use Windows 7 64-bit.

On IRC, if I got it correctly, Dylan also said that there can be a problem (but it is not clear what it is) when you install a new MegaGlest version while you already had an old version installed. He said that in this situation the installer will start an uninstaller to remove the old installation, which somehow fails (?). Unless explained in more detail is provided, this attempt of a summary I tried to provide here won't be of any use.
