v3.6.0.2: Null exception crash on start
« on: 26 December 2011, 07:24:14 »
Greetings Glest community

First of all, congratulations for their hard work is amazing!

My name is Aaron, I'm Chilean and reach its search engine forum for strategy gaming. I am a digital animator, Flash, After Effects and 3dmax.
I'ma fan of Alien v / s Predator, by that I do try to play these races besides humans and their machines. Something like a sort of Star Craft.

I have a question:

I download the version of Glest 3.0 and I really liked the game, then download the new version 6 .0.2 Megaglest, install and when I run the. Exe, I see the presentation and then get an error dialog box that says this:

Quote
(null) Exception:0x6167654d[0x73656c47]

[]

After that the program closes.

Someone knows what is it? Other tools work's well.

Thank you and goodbye.

Edit (tomreyn): Add version number to subject line.

I think I may have discovered a bug that may have been causing a crash for some users who have video drivers that report they support VBO's. I have committed a fix in svn and wonder if anyone who uses svn and also --disable-vbo could try the latest svn without --disable-vbo to see if it works for them?

Thanks
