in my opinion, glest shouldnt share a lobby with another game. where are the benefits? players could just get confused, especially new ones. if i play a game called gest, i want to start it in a "glest-space".
it´s just a thing about useability.
a lobby, similar to TA is, on the other hand, quite useful. it doesn´t start fullscreen, i can leave the window open, i can chat while doing my work otherwise, i can wait for one specific player (perhaps with "buddies", and it doesnt need my GFX-card resources from start. sounds a little bit like gamespy, etc. that´s nice.
and yes, multiplayer. multiplayer. huuu, i think the most important next step in development, far more important then everything else. battling computers is nice, but nothing more, these times are multiplayer times, a human mind is the most interesting opponent, and...ahm, did i mention the word "multiplayer" so far? yesss...:)

ps: *edited* : this post should have appeared in the topic "multiplayer!", strangely it didn´t (im quite sure i hit "reply", but perhaps i´m wrong. stood up some minutes ago, drinkin´ first coffee..
