Author Topic: [Fixed] Cloaking units not seen at all when shaders are on.  (Read 2501 times)

This is related to this topic: https://forum.megaglest.org/index.php?topic=7575.0 but I'm not completely sure if we are talking about the same bug, so I decided to start a new thread.

I'm using the newest beta in Windows 7: https://forum.megaglest.org/index.php?topic=7635.0

When the shaders are on in the graphics settings, cloaked units are completely invisible to the owning player. They can be still selected, but only thing visible are the hp and ep rings. However I tried it with different combination of graphics settings, and only setting which caused them to display as they should (transparent) is when shaders are off. However the game looks much better with shaders on :(. Is there a solution to fix this problem, or have I just to play without the shader? :)

I'm not sure if there is a thread about this, but at least I didn't found one. Are you others having similar problem with the cloak? :|

I'm having the same problem with my cloaking units. Turning the shaders off shows them again.

Can anyone who is having this problem please let us know if they are using nVidia or ATI cards.

I have the same problem. I'm using GAE 0.3.93 with a Nvidia GT220 card.

Cool, this was fixed already...

  Need to catch up on other bug reports and get some fixes in, I was planning to go straight to 0.4 from 0.3.93, but given the immense time lapse another beta might be a good idea, give it a couple of weeks.
