I'm still having great fun putting together a Japanese based mod, but can't get some Upgrade effects to work properly.
This Wiki page lays it all out clearly, but after lots of experimentation, I still cannot get a simple HP boost to work.
It seems to me that the English is awry here..? The units affected should come under <affects>, but that doesn't work. It does if I put it under <effects>, which is where the desired effects should be listed. If I don't enclose the <static-modifiers> then they work fine, but I can't put a HP boost in there.
Basically, this means that I can increase the HP a unit can have by using max-hp, but when produced they still have the normal HP value and a healing unit dashes over to fix the new unit up!
I've had a good trawl through Google and searched here, but still don't know if this is broken or is a new development which doesn't yet work in GAE 0.3.2..? And is the English corrected for affects/effects? (The latter might be better as 'causes' or something notably different than 'affects').
