In in-game chat, on Linux (possibly other platforms, too) you can press Ctrl-J to trigger a line feed, allowing you to overwrite the text others are writing in the chat. We obviously can just ban people who do this, but it would be nicer to disable Ctrl-J or other key combinations which allow for multi-line input in the first place.

Totally agree. For sure it should be disabled for Internet games.

As far as I can tell this has since been fixed. Ctrl-J does not work for me on 3.7.0 beta2 to inject line breaks (nor does any other key combination I tried).
