[not a bug], 3.6.0.3: bad graphics on Linux (Fedora)?

MegaGlest version 3.6.0.3
Fedora on kernel 3.3.1-3.fc16.i686
downloaded from MegaGlest site

Hi,
I can't seem to find this problem anywhere but when i run Glest 3.5.2 my graphics look like this (image taken from MegaGlest obviously, but it shows my point):

Code: [Select]

but the in game graphics in MegaGlest look like this:
Code: [Select]

and a slightly closer look:

Code: [Select]

Edit (tomreyn): Fixed embedding of/linking to images

Hi + welcome,
can you please explain what exactly seems to be the problem, and how what you get differs from what you expected to get? To me the looks of the dead tree seem to be correct and as intended.

Please also note that we do not support (vanilla) Glest here (and that there was no Glest version 3.5.2). It is no longer developed and we recommend you use MegaGlest instead.

In Glest the in game graphics were better, more like the menu screen graphics in MegaGlest, I was expecting the graphics to be the same or better in MegaGlest, it seems from your reply that this is not the case and they are as they are.

That's fine, if they're as they're meant to be then there's no problem with my machine/drivers/ OpenGL etc.

thanks for the quick reply and sorting out my images, i'm off to play MegaGlest
