Obviously a lot of love went into that video!

I had a go at Blender once, but found it very difficult. I found an online tutorial on how to model a dolphin and had some fun with that. With the help of a bazillion other tutorials just to find out how to handle the interface!

I didn't really manage to animate it though, all I did was take a few stills for a little puzzle game. Some of you probably recognise the game mechanics from the crypt in 7th Guest http://www.foramnagaidhlig.net/stuth/geamannan/leumadair/

I wouldn't expect you to. It's Scottish Gaelic :)

Glad you like it. Could do with some texturing, but I didn't find any free textures at the time and wasn't inclined to try and make my own, because I wanted to get the game up and running.

Very nice !! You're doing as a expert !
About this episode : No need to say more. It's great !
I'm suprised, why can you make these trailers & films? Vectors, meshes, models, textures, animations, colors, actions, collision, splashs, sounds, musics, stories, X Y Z positions etc... !??

I'm in very beginner stage and I need your advices.... Help !
Mesh is the most difficult problem. Second : Texture searching & flitering problem.
Third : Actions and animations.
Fourth : Color blending & physics, collision.
Fifth : Events, time sorting scheduling.

My intention is make a short story about "The Adventure of A Fairy"  but now (???) 'reduced' to make a real character. I think it's....????

And, where can I find necessary textures to make any person ? And tricks ? (Don't in short you answer 'by google'. I don't need them :) ?!!???)

And finally, remark your episodes : so good :) +1
Double thumbs up !!!!

Well dude! that's a lot of encouraging input! Thanks a bunch I will continue to create Episodes.

As for modelling help:
1st (what version of blender are you using? for starters 2.49 is best)
You need help on modelling a basic mesh right? well what is it you want to make? I would start with something basic.

For texturing there are many places to look.
Here are a few websites, if you need something else try doing a Google Image search.
http://www.mayang.com/textures/
http://www.cgtextures.com/
http://freestocktextures.com/
http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/02/06/100-beautiful-free-textures/
There are many ways to unwrap a texture onto an object. (I can make a tutorial if you need)

For particle effects tell me what you want and I will whip up a quick video tutorial for you if I know how to do what you want Or I can try to explain it here on the forums.

For a good Storyline you must just sit down and think up one (maybe get a friend to critique it).

For music I use http://www.jamendo.com/en

For sounds I use my own recordings and some sounds from http://www.freesound.org/ (if you have sound requests you can't find, tell me, I might be able to record them for you)

Camera motion can also help with setting up a scene.

Hope some of this can help.
PS. if you do create something post it here and I'll tell you what I think!

A bunch of good tutorials:

http://www.blenderguru.com/
http://cgcookie.com/blender/

This is the tutorial I followed to make my dolphin: http://www.blendernation.com/tutorials/blender-3d-beginner-tutorial-dolphin/

@Tiger: great video! One small thing though: the elevator doors look as if they move forward as well while opening and closing. You should think about giving them some thickness as well.

Sorry, Tiger. :)
Excuse me.

Now I started learning Blender now.
I was too busy, so I did not have any time to look at Blender.
As a Blender starter, I don't know the first thing I have to do with Blender. In short, my intention is :
I want to make a simple bottle or a can (Maybe it's too hard?)
Or simply I only want to apply a or multiple textures to a Blender object.

I also want to learn more how to select objects, resize, rotate a object etc... by the mouse. And some common and popular hotkeys, camera, selection menus, and view modes, rendering....

Ok,the first lesson...that's enough !! Actually I want to learn more, but maybe making a simple object by Blender requires lots of time, and I have to practise myself more, and more... I love making my own movies and character models for my own Glest mod and show everybody any my own product that I've finished. I learn Blender through the help, remarks, suggestions... from others and my mistakes. Help me please (Hope all goes well...)

When you get started with Blender, you have to learn a bunch of hotkeys and how all the different views work in the program, so you can actually select, move and edit meshes. This does take a while to get used to and memorise. The best way to go is to take it slow, follow a few tutorials and play around with what you've learned. You also need 3 mouse buttons.

It took me a full week to make my dolphin, and that was a week I was off sick with nothing else to do. I relied heavily on tutorials and googling for stuff.

A few months later, I can't remember the hotkeys anymore and would have to start learning Blender again from scratch. It is difficult to master, but very rewarding when you do :D

For Blender 2.49

A - unselect all objects (or vertices).
B - Press it then click and drag over objects (or vertices) you want to select.
Left Click - Moves the position of the cursor.
Right Click - selects the object you are hovering over.
TAB - enters edit mode.
Z - toggles between solid and wire-frame mode.
I - Press "I" then LocRotScale to enter a frame in the action editor.
SPACE BAR - press it to add objects (space add mesh "object")
NUM 7 - front view
NUM 3 - Side view
NUM 8 - Raise the Camera
NUM 2 - Lower the Camera
ALT R - Reset the rotation on a object
ALT G - Clear the Location of an object.
E - In edit mode select the vertices you want to extrude and press "E"

These are some simple keys in blender 2.49b

@tiger
What the version of Blender are you using? (2.49... or 2.64????)
I don't know where I can find & download Blender 2.49. It seems died. :(
Do you still have Blender 2.49 or a Blender link? If so, share with me, and any your help would be greatly appreciated. :)

I tried a search to compare between 2.49 and 2.64. Blender 2.64 has a modern and comfortable workspace, also it has been taken lots of new features and optimizations. And Blender 2.49? Best for starters, but I doubt is there any problem when I want to switch away from 2.49 to 2.64 or higher???

I should choose 2.49 (The best place to start) or v2.64 (The strongest version)?? And I have a more doubt is rendering with Blender is a little slow. I downloaded a *.Blend example and I see 'It took about 58 minutes with 100% CPU usage to complete its rendering with a lovely movie output!' And you? How long did it take when you had told the program to render your movies? :)
