1 I don't mind feedback but, I'm not sure why you (Omega) are involved in this topic seeing as you are part of GAE and have nothing to do with MegaGlest (no offence).
3 If I do everyone's Ideas then I will be changing things all day So please! only MegaGlest users tell me what "NEEDS" to be changed.
The hell? I do certainly like GAE, but I also like Skyrim, Civilization, and Mario. Why on earth could I not like MegaGlest too? This isn't a competition. You can use Windows and Linux. You could own a PS3 and a 360. It's biased comments like yours that threaten to divide the community. For your concern, I always have the latest version of MegaGlest installed on my computer; I play the game, even if I don't have much time or bother to go online. I support both engines, and as it stands, GAE is looking more or less dead, while MegaGlest has made huge strides in progress since its inception. Yes, GAE does have multiple features that MegaGlest doesn't, and of course, MegaGlest has features that GAE does not either.
It's not a competition. I, for one, like seeing the engines get better. We'd be kidding ourself if we say MegaGlest is perfect. There's lots of things that could be improved, and, yes, some of those features already exist in GAE. That doesn't mean I "hate MegaGlest's guts" or some other childish rant; I just want to see MegaGlest get even better. You should too.
I'm also not "part of GAE". I like the engine. At one point of time, I liked it more than MegaGlest (bear in mind that at one point of time, MegaGlest was essentially vanilla Glest with a basic masterserver). It's come a long way since, whereas GAE isn't even actively developed. Neither point means I "hate" MegaGlest or that choosing an engine is an "exclusive" act. If you'd keep an eye on the wiki, you'd note that a large portion of documentation for MegaGlest's rapidly growing features was done by me (although several newer features aren't yet documented). Finally, this is the MegaGlest category; all the people posting here are MegaGlest users. I seem to recall you asking for feedback.
