Bug-free version?

this is probably a dumb question....but here goes:

Is there some version of MegaGlest I can download that has all the major kinks and bugs worked out?
In other words, one I can be sure works so that if there is a prob I know it is with my computer...
I dont mind older versions (only because I haven't played the newer ones  )
Just let me know wherer i can get it if so
