Problem compiling v1.2 from CVS, missing platform_menu.h
« on: 8 September 2005, 03:52:13 »
shared_lib/include/platform/win32/window.h  includes "platform_menu.h",
however there is no "platform_menu.h" in the CVS.

Could you please update the CVS Martinho?

Cheers,
Jon

Hi Martinho,

Good to see you back on the forum.

Could you please have another look at the CVS.
I am certain that you will find that 'glest\source\shared_lib\include\platform\win32\platform_menu.h'
does not exist in the CVS.

It does not show up in the CVSWeb at:
http://http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/glest/glest/source/shared_lib/include/platform/win32/

Nor does it appear after a CVS update.

I am gratified to see that it does indeed exist in the zipped source distribution.

It confuses me a little how the source & executable distributions (posted on www.glest.org) vary from the source in the CVS. Shouldn't the official distributions be built from the official source (on the CVS)?

Regards,
Jon

Hi, sorry for that. The official versions are built from the same files as in the CVS, but this menu stuff is something I've recently added to use in some of my personal projects and I forgot to add it to the CVS. It should be there now.
