MegaGlest Refit - Baseline Gameplay

Baseline gameplay: Small maps, short games, extremely limited resources, and a 6:1 strike:kill ratio.

I propose(again) Attack Strength/Health multipliers, and resource multipliers. This would give the option for longer games, allow us to change the strike:kill ratio to exactly what we like in our gameplay. Of course bigger maps is the answer to small maps. :P

We could make all these changes in the file structures but why? People have different preferences.

I'm not sure about "extremely" limited resources. Obviously there's limited resources, but not too much. How long should the average four player free for all last? I think half an hour should be the median length. As for a 6:1 strikes-to-kill ratio, assuming you're referring to a unit against itself for the average unit (since some units may be faster but weaker and others may emphasize attack or defensive), that sounds fair. Also, note the attack and armour types, which will be necessary for balancing.

I almost always set the resources to 2000000+ when I play... I like to have long games and huge battles.
6:1 strikes-to-kill ratio is ridiculous. In reality it's 1:1 or 2:1 at max. I'd like to be able to play with a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio for more realistic gameplay. That's why I suggest the multipliers so we can play our SP games the way we want, and MP compatibility will remain! ;)

Off topic, but if such a feature is implemented, it should be available in multiplayer too. After all, it applies to all players.
