It's a long time that I have the feeling that the computer gets more gold than it actually have, but today I found a prove for it.
Here is the screen of the battle end, when I conquered the Egypt base (AI3).

ImageShack.usAs you can see during the game, I took control of all the area outside Egypt base, and there was no worker who worked there, so all Egypt gold must come from there own base.
At the game start there is 29 gold piles 2,000 units etc = 58,000 gold units. You can see that in the end of the game the gold isn't finished and it's left about 20,000 units.
In this screen we can see that the Egypt produced 1,658 units when the cheaper Egypt unit (mummy) cost 45 gold, and we get 45*1,658 = 74,610, a lot more then the gold in the all area (of coure the Egypt produce a lot expensive units as: priest, snake, scarab, ibis etc).

ImageShack.usSo from some bug or some thing like this, the CPU gets more gold then it has, and it's not fair that the human player need to fight for gold, and the CPU gets it on the silver plate (or gold plate
).
I'll glad to hear if I'm right and what is the explanation and the solution of this.
