whot do you want to do?? I dont understand this right...  :D
so i Talked a bit with the (dutch) maker, and he said i can do this, i was talking dutch to him too...

So its a Game were you and your friend can fight against computer or your friend or in a team. you can Choose from about 4 Vehicles (in the 2D Version only 3) A Hovercraft, A Hummer, A Tank and a Battle Bi-wheel.
Hm you don´t know what an battle bi-wheel is? look: *klick*

So this is one of my plans for games, but first i will make a racing game with tune up funktions (i got already 16 different Rims...)
Its called Unfair Racing, because you can use weapons like this beautifull Minigun (this is my newest model) Minigun

ive got much moore screens about this, ive made a Bullet chain too
i used milkshape instead...
The rocket launcher model has got 12912 Triangles, 9212 Vertices, 65 Groups and 9 different materials (textures)

too much polys and Textures^^

If you want to make a rts 13000 triangles are definitly to much...Well i think, its also to much for any other genre, much fps-engines doesn´t allow characters with more than 10000tris, so you should try to reduce them. And textures.... most glest-units use only one 256*256 diffuse map (one mat)...

Off-topic:

Btw: My page with my models is http://http://www.toph-design.de.gg

Maybe the next world-wide best rts comes from germany: http://http://www.paraworld.com
I like this game
:D

yeah, i can reduce that poly shit easyly, that should be no problem.
Jo some of youre models look good to...

But i want to start with a racing game!  :|  they are for contests or privat things, may i will make hundreds of good models, then im gonna animate and texturing them and then i gonna sell them on CD online...

Much people who can programm, but never can find any models need this really... or i can make models for other people, and they have to pay for it...  :o

they got druids, build everything out of Wood an Stone, and growing
things like Carnivorus Plants, whiping thorns a.m.m.

Druids building things out of only stone and WOOD? I thought Druids were supposed to be some kind of people who are/try to be, in harmony with nature and devote their lives to nature...

How would going and cutting down trees to make things and buildings out of be "being in harmony with nature" ??  ::)

What about animals as a non-playable always-enemy faction?

i saw a rts that had a non-playable always-enemy faction or "race", i think the game's name is Majesty, but i don't remember well.

anyway, in this game monsters roam the world and sometimes attack your town.

What about this faction?

The work is in progress or not ?

I think it's absolutely a good idea.

Maybe the Natural faction has to use the wood and the stone in a new way.
I mean, they don't gather resources from cutting the trees, but maybe from getting the energy from the trees and don't kill them.
Or something like that :)

It's a good idea, and it should be made, but I don't know that the Glest developers should necessarily be the ones to make it.  The engine is open enough that if you've got a little talent you can add your own factions to the game so why not do it?

I think the solution for that nature problem is that the druids need life energy (Water). With that Energy of life they can let the plants grow how they want, where they want and in wich form they want...

They could use stones in any way cause the arent living things...
  Animals to hunt down.
-> Treasures like a chest full of gold or Books that upgrade its readers skills...

Yeah they would just suck up the sap (i'm not really sure of this world: its the gluing thing in the trees that make them grow), but the tree would die. This proceed would be very slow but trees would have a lot of vital energy (which is necessary to create new creatures). With further research in one of the buildings of the tech druids would be able to transform trees into creature when they are out of sap, but it would be very expensive but the trees would be very powerfull against most of the other units except the dragons (who burn them down to the ground) and the human's robots (who cut them down to pieces). For energy, druids will have to bring gold in a kind of big hole. The main building would be a gigantic mushroom. The new buildings cost nothing, you only need a lot of druids and patience (yes nature is very very slow) and a small place where there are enough trees (which will be transformed into the building).
The druids would be able to fight: they would wip with roots. They are very very very weak (a very few lifepoints) but have an option to protect themselves (it uses vital energy and is limited in time), so that nobody can attack them. The other warriors will have an very strong defense, extremly slow movings and attacks but quiete powerfull. Those warriors would be: the living trees (i spoke about it before) and the earth's daemons (made of mud): they would attack by making the ground near the opponents attack the ennemies (mud would raise from the ground and bury them), and with further researches they would have a very destructive attack: a seisme (makes the ground rumble/move). It would harm a lot the ennemies and also harm a little bit any near people or building. Finally, druids would be able to grow into dragon hunters: it is the only one who can face them, and they will be very weak against other troops but very strong against dragons. However they would own some power the dragons give when they die and become quickly quiet strong against all troups.
Eventually, the nature would be very slow but quiet powerfull.
Well I hope i annoy nobody with my silly ideas, and tell me if so, because i'm planning to do the this faction's tree
Besides i'm a very bad designer but i can program quiet well and nicely (with standards) in C.
And I hope you all understand my english (i'm french).

Another option is that the animals eat the tree's and use the stone by place them together and use it as an wall. If they eat, they grow until they are involved to an other bigger animal.
The only problem is the gold. WTF can an animal gold use for?
My (real stupid) idea is that gold can be used by trowing it to enemy units of something like that.

BTW, i maybe can help with the modeling of the units. I've got Poser 6. I've never before worked with it, but i learn fast.

(I hope you can understand my English, im dutch)

Something like Age of Empires, the animal faction Gaia.
They could be hunted down for food (or energy for Magic faction) and sometimes they attack your units.
Maybe we can spit it, an faction of animals (always enemy) and an faction of humans who get there live needs from the animals by hunting them.
