I like all of these maps Titi listed, with the exception of Paraiso BR_2013.mgm. This one looks nice, but gameplay isn't so great in my (very personal and subjective) opinion.

In case it will still be used, I recommend replacing the blank space by an underscore.

Regarding maps forest_divide.mgm and kaleidoscope2.mgm I don't actually remember how good they are.

Regarding maps cliff_way.mgm and hells_clam_2.mgm I seem o remember that they can be detrimental to performance and cause lags for players on slower hardware.

I updated the authors according to MuwuM's posting

@tomreyn:
Hells_clam_2:  was ok from what I played ( and I played it often)
cliff_way:  yes I remember too that ist slow for some people. Maybe we better skip it as gameplay isn't that great anyway on this
kaleidoscope2 is good and i had several fun games on it ( I made it  ;) )
forest devide: is VERY good . I am very sure we should use it!

I have 2 Maps here .... where is the difference between lakesway and 1vs1_2vs2_lakesway ???
and why 5vs2b1 and not five_on_three. If its five_on_three i want the map.

And what about a poll? :)

I want : 1vs1_2vs2_lakesway,6player,another_riverside_a3,clinch,grandezza_a2,hells_clam_2,intermezzo,o_masters,one_king_fairplay,ragor_a1,renkontre,tour_de_force

I dont want:Paraiso BR_2013.mgm

i dont know (enough) about the rest of the maps.

and i want one map which is not listed here yet : canoe

I removed 1vs1_2vs2_lakesway and 5vs2b1 from the above posts, as they already were in MG with another name.
And I remove cliffway too because it caused trouble on slow machines.

Hm Canoe is not in the maps? Ok I will look for it

This "Testmap 00", which I think is by Atze, would also be good to include. I think, again, the latest revision of it would be A03 (which I do not have but he does).

I more geared towards magitech races. Those ancient age civilizations do not appeal me much. Although there is no persian scenario, kinda problematic that is timed scenario, not allowing you to explore the race much (for those who encounter the race for the first time).

About me, I would rather do campaign scenarios, but I would like to have help with someone who would make a story and not being too generic.

forest divide: is VERY good . I am very sure we should use it!

I made forest_divide, it is a derivative of this map by felipeludo2011.

We could definitely use more quality maps, also for the mod menu.
That is, without pathfinding problems (AI cannot find route from their start position to humans'; narrow paths increasing calculation overhead), with start positions which allow for team play (or not, depending on the use case), where start positions are somehow in line with player IDs (e.g. don't place the first player top left and the second player bottom right unless it's a 2 or 3 player map), where gamelpay has been tested, and where screenshot and description text are available (for the mod menu; use the MegaGlest command line option created for this purpose to create the screenshot).
