There's always a nice way to say "I think you are wrong", and we need to remain open for criticism (including when we do not agree with it, to a certain degree) since if we do not we will miss important aspects of usability issues and other shortcomings of the games discussed here. People who are new to the community have a valuable outside view on these projects while everyone who has been involved for a while is within the bubble and will thus just miss some aspects which can be very important to anyone new to the game, and can turn people off.
This said, the developers cannot match every wish or need, both regarding the game engine (though it has been proven that there is a lot of flexibility there) and, especially, the existing game (which has a fixed concept which should not be watered, but other games can be made including by reusing assets and concepts from Megapack).
