Techtree Barillion

Hi I started working on a new techtree ( maybe called "barillion" in the end ) .
In the end it should have 3 faction "Bugs" "Humans" "Aliens" .

We started with Bugs now and I just  have my first models and ideas for techtrees.
Does anyone wants to join the project ?

My first Tilseset: SPRING :) (included in Megaglest )

Secret Hint: To play online join the IRC #megaglest-lobby on freenode which is the lobby chat ingame. So you can chat with or wait for people in the lobby without running megaglest all the time.

Just a short update to show that this project is not dead:

From left to right:
-MG-Gunner-Scorpion or something like this
-(Louse)Farm (work in progress... will get another ground texture; maybe something like a nest)
-Louse ( this will be the "cow" )

you could use this mantis, it could be close-range anti-air
its animated but the texture is not so great

First time that Barillion has some kind of techtree. So you can play a real match now, even its not very balanced yet and not all units can be produced yet.

They look so good, but sadly ingame they are very small and you hve problems to recognize them. But he is trying more  ;D .

Well yes back in 2012 and earlier this forums were really spawning up one mod after another and the interest was strong... It's sad it is less active now... It was so fun to read and check on work of so many creative and talented people.

As for what I'm working on. It is a TBS game that will be a heroes of might and magic clone... well somewhat . There is a http://vcmi.eu open source engine project going on for years for homm3 and I plan of creating an open source game based on that engine and assets from MG (mg mods), 0 ad, and stuff available on opengame.art.  Of course with all credits for original authors and with cc-by-sa license for any game assets I end up releasing.

Some of my in progress work can be viewed here http://s42.photobucket.com/user/val-gaav/library/legends ... The speed for the project is slow. I started in 2012 and still have nothing working to show up.

From Barillion I would probably use buildings for an goblin/orc town and maybe some creatures like mantis, spider .
