problem with blocked IPs
« on: 27 December 2013, 15:41:54 »
Hi, some people cannot reach the forum because their IP is "blocked".
For example CyberRock had the IP 115.249.25.252 and cannot access the forum with this.  Maybe the current access filter is a bit too restrictive ?
Try Megaglest! Improved Engine / New factions / New tilesets / New maps / New scenarios

Has this not been resolved already?

The IP address he was using was also used by a known spammer in the past. But I later allowed that IP in when it was caught (or so I thought?). Tom also redirected CyberRock to where he or she could fill out a form to remove their IP from the database of spammers.

No, it looks like this is not resolved. At least on 27 december he still was not able to access the forum.

Stopforumspam doesn't currently have this IP address listed. It allows for searching other IP addresses.
If an address is erroneously listed, removal can be requested using a web form.

Users who run into problems with MegaGlest related websites (including the forums) are welcome to contact hostmaster at megaglest.org, describing the problem, what introduced it and which attempts have been made to overcome it.
