Hi!
I tried the binaries in megaglest-binary-win64-x86_64-3.9.1.7z and have to report that there is no networkgame possible for me on my machine. (WIN 7 64Bit).
I get unknown errors and access violation after the game run a few minutes. every game broke. I think tom made some world-logs of those games. I gave him some console-output too, i think. (tom, that was that very late-night-session!). The game breakes too with no logging.

binary pack megaglest-binary-win32-i386-3.9.1.7z seems to work fine on my machine.

please have alook at that

Can anyone else confirm if the win64 binary makes problems on your system?

    • MegaGlest - the free and open source cross platform 3D real-time strategy game
I just played another test game involving the Windows 64-bit build. This time the client was Coldfusionstorm's. I was hosting on atibox again, though, running the 3.9.1 Linux 64-bit release build. We played with the world CRC moitor enabled, and Coldfusionstorm ran into a CRC mismatch during the first enemy attack.

My server log file is at:
http://tomreyn.megaglest.org/debugCRCWorld_tomreyn_2014-02-04_1.tar.gz

Coldfusionstorm should post his client log soon, or I will edit this post to add it.
atibox: Ryzen 1800X (8 cores @3.6GHz), 32 GB RAM, MSI Radeon RX 580 Gaming X 8G, PCI subsystem ID [1462:3417], (Radeon RX 580 chipset, POLARIS10) @3440x1440; latest stable Ubuntu release, (open source) radeon (amdgpu) / mesa video driver
atibox (old): Core2Quad Q9400 (4 cores @2.66GHz), 8 GB RAM, XFX HD-467X-DDF2, PCI subsystem ID [1682:2931], (Radeon HD 4670, RV730 XT) @1680x1050; latest stable Ubuntu release, (open source) radeon / mesa video driver

We were just a "few" minutes in.(5-10) i had built a barrack a blacksmith and a farm, And building workers and the enemy was hunting down one for tomreyns early scouts all the way back to our bases when suddenly i got CRC mismatch and was thrown out.

This is with the 3.9.1 Data folder And the Binaries tomreyn gave me.

Coldfusionstorm's Windows 7 client running a 64-bit Windows build still runs into a CRC mismatch on 4716.d2f321a.

Server: http://tomreyn.megaglest.org/debugCRCWorld_tomreyn_2014-02-06_1.tar.gz
Client: http://www.tempfiles.net/download/201402/336166/debugCRCWorld_Coldfusionstorm_And_Tomr_VS_AI.html

When it happened it was the first inboud CPU attack.

Me and Tomreyn Ran a game today First with Atze then With Just me and Tomreyn.

Tomreyns Server logs.
1. Game: http://tomreyn.megaglest.org/debugCRCWorld_tomreyn_2014-02-07_1.tar.gz
2. Game: http://tomreyn.megaglest.org/debugCRCWorld_tomreyn_2014-02-07_2.tar.gz

Coldfusionstorm Client logs.
1. Game http://www.megafileupload.com/en/file/496950/debugCRCWorld-TomryenColdfusionstormAtze-VS-AI-7z.html
2. Game http://www.megafileupload.com/en/file/496952/debugCRCWorld-ColdfusionstormTomreyn-vs-AI-7z.html

In both the first and second game, i was running my starting units out to scout and then attack the enemy. After attacking/discovering there would pass around 30 seconds to 60 seconds and i would get a CRC mismatch.

These games are generally plauged with terrible FPS for me the first game with Atze i had 3-4 FPS.
The Second game with Tomreyn was i felt better than last time i now had 10-19 fps. (this was still in the first 4 minutes of the game mind you, From memory i did not notice the actualy passed time)
