announcing a dance of fire and ice!

It was near the end of the magitech wars when the tech faction seemed to have won. The magic forces had been pushed towards their home city. No one knew how the dragons would react to the weakening control the magicians had over them.
At the last battle the dragons finally broke loose and raged on the battlefield attacking(to the magicians luck) the tech faction and after the entire tech army was defeated they fled into hiding.
The tide had turned, at every single battle versus the tech factions the magicians could count on reinforcements from the independent dragons but none of the magicians knew what the dragons had in store for them.
When the tech faction had been forced into hiding the dragons started running out of food and they turned on the magicians and the same fate happened to them.
The remaining survivors built an army of magically enhanced battle machines and took them to fight the dragons eventually eliminating them but not before the dragons burned the library of knowledge and destroyed the stone of magic destroying magic from this world and eliminating any advanced knowledge the techs had.
Eventually a way to make magic orbs that would focus magic was made and the surviving books rescued. The survivors that used fire orbs and those that used ice orbs separated and lived at peace for a time till they found each other. What followed was a series of battles toward and away from each other known as:

A DANCE OF FIRE AND ICE working title.

A full conversion set in the GLEST universe.
All new units combining magic and tech!
An interactive campaign based on real results from the public.
Completely redesigned maps and resource gathering changing gamplay style!
Lastly an expansion!

I NEED HELP MAKING THIS!!

how much time do you want to invest in it?

if you really want to do this, you shuold find people that are as enthusiastic as you and do not give up after some weeks. it's not really easy to find these people

The most important think is to show someone's own enthusiasm and engagement. Whithout that you won't find anyone, because everyone has ideas for a game and there is a lot of people, who post such a thread without any futher engagement. The best way is to start with the game alone. After you have something to show(modified code[real coding, not only xml-changing], graphics), more people are interested, who really want to help.
