What is minetest, and what could I find useful there?

Also I am going to make my own minecraft tile set eventually.

Minetest is like minecraft , since you're doing a minecraft mod , maybe you can use somethings from minetest , since all its data are under liberal license.

I am using textures from a texture pack someone made, and they allow people to use it if they get credit.

Also I am trying to make a Minecraft mod, not a minetest mod, by looking at the page, IDK if there is anything useful really.

A minecraft mod is a great idea. I do hope this mod is more than just using mobs as units, and includes more unique and creative buildable objects. I'm sure there's thousands of Redstone contraptions on youtube to inspire you.

On a side note cows look to small, but other than that it looks great!!

I never played Minecraft. ;D So I do not really have an opinion about it. :| 

However, the screenshot looks promising.  :thumbup: :)

I was thinking about adding a TNT cannon, but there are just so many mobs that the tech it quite full.

If you have any ideas of redstone contraptions that would work, let me know.

No, kind of got board of making it. Ill finish it when my current project is done.

VoxeLibre should be far enough by now that it could also be done with models and textures from that Luanti mod/game.

(VoxeLibre is younger than this mod, first commit was 2015-06-29 as MineClone and got revived 2017 as MineClone2)
