[no bug] MegaGlest crashes in Ubuntu 15.10

When I start the game , I put it in window mode alt + tab, so it
crashes the screen system just music continues to work. force to restart computer in restart bottom

System: Ubuntu 15.10 32-bits

Does this happen with other OpenGL games?

Which hardware?

Which MG version?

Run the game from a terminal (see FAQ for details) and capture its output to a file so you can get an idea of what's going wrong. Also check Xorg logs, /var/log/messages and ~/.xsession-errors

I didn't start this post, but thought I could add a little to it.

Looks like Ubuntu 15.10 (Wily Werewolf) has MegaGlest 3.11.1 in its "universe" repo.

This may have the same root cause as the one discussed at https://forum.megaglest.org/index.php?topic=9701.0 (for which a workaround exists).

I'm not able to reproduce this (not too thoroughly described) issue on 3.11.1 or the latest snapshots on Windows 10 or 8.1, so I assume this can be due to the incompatible (insufficient) graphics hardware Victor uses. I'll therefore close this report.
