suggest link to home page on forum and wiki

I thought it could help with navigation if there was a link to megaglest.org in the header of the forum and the wiki.

That's indeed true.
Suggestions for good places ? Maybe simply the logo on each of those sides ?

Hmmm...  I thought some designers would have offered opinions on this by now.

Right now, the MG logo at the very top points to the Forum home. Change that to point to megaglest.org

The text link on the forum navigation bar could be changed from "home" to "Forum home" but that's a bit wordy. Perhaps a graphic representing a forum or bulletin board could be place somewhere near the main MG logo at the top, and the text link for "Home" could be replaced with "Forum" and an additional text link next to it, "megaglest.org"

On the footer of each page, I was thinking text links pointing to the forum home, the MG home, and maybe the wiki, etc.

For the wiki? something similiar xD.

By the way, any agreed changes are something I could likely implement. It's been a while, but I'm sure I could figure it out. I remember something about editing php templates for bulletin boards, though I primarily administered phpBB and Drupal installations. I've never administered a wiki.

How often are people going to the megaglest home page? I feel like it's not a place you'd typically go back to when on the forum and wiki. And the current behavior is very consistent with every other forum and wiki that I've seen. I'm reluctant to change it for that purpose alone.

If there's gonna be a link to the MG home page, it probably shouldn't be the logo. Could add something to the main menu (the gold/brown bar at the top) on the forum. The wiki can add something to the sidebar.

I don't know often people are doing this; however, I do it frequently when I want to access a link from the home page that isn't on the forum or wiki. To me, it makes perfect sense to link all sub-pages of megaglest.org to megaglest.org.
