I've been playing MegaGlest for a few years now and I almost got every faction, however, even after all this time there are still some that are offline.

If anyone has these please reupload them, sorry if this is how my first post went but I didn't see anyone else asking.

Animal Cruelty (Please, I've been watching this one offline for years)
Mars 2080 (Looks cool, downed links are not)
another Steampunk (Looks really nice, too bad the links are down)
Storm Ravens Clan (Passworded; what is the password?)
Orcs (offline for a very long time, again)
Goblins (I donno if this was released, all I know is it's got broken links)

Would greatly appreciate these, I'm sure others would too.

Hmm.... I only have Storm Ravens Clan, but it was very unfinished when I tested it and it's not playable (some resources can't be harvested) so there's much point uploading it.

I think it's a similar case for the other ones/ the devs didn't upload them cos they felt they were too unfinished.

....which is a shame IMO, since if work went into it, and it was meant to be made available to the general community, then those parts which were done would still have been a great contribution, and one others could evolve from (which IMO makes complete sense if you stop working on something).

That's one of the (admittedly many) reasons why open source software developers often make their creations available in public repositories from the very start. (Of course, there is also proprietary software which remains proprietary forever, and proprietary software which becomes open source only much later). If they ever stop developing it (and the licensing terms they chose and declared permit it) others can just fork it and make it become something great in the end (with original copyrights and / or credits retained). To me, that's a great way to make your work last (even if you decide to drive it further on your own).

As for storm ravens being incomplete, it's not my priority, the one I really wanna get is Animal Cruelty.

For Mars 2080 click on the littel word "mirrors" on top and choose a free one, this will work. I was able to download it there.

About animal cruelity, try to contact user ultifd , this was a quite reliable guy when he was active, so there might be a chance.

Camelot is long gone. Archmage has been inactive long enough to make most his modifications now out-of-reach. He created the best high-quality models, and now, we don't even have an active modeler/developer at this moment.

Can you give a link to the related forum thread for each faction you are looking for ?

Looks like I still have goblin. I will upload it soon.
As far as I remember orcs were really not that good and in a very "alpha" state.

... and btw what about your skills, can you maybe help us refit one of those factions ? ( just xml editing of course )

Anothersteampunk I just posted in, so it's in front.

I've tinkered around with the game and understand XML, but I'm no modeler, I only re-skinned stuff.

I've been recently coming back to megaglest, as I found a friend to play it with and have been compiling every faction I can get into the MegaPack with exception to the Vbros stuff (41 factions ATM)
This isn't and won't be publicly released because i want to public distribute other peoples stuff; this was only meant for my friends.

Everything in the mod's centre must satisfy a number of conditions where one of them is well balanced/well playable so e.g. some techtrees like Jammy said:

I wanna ask and request more stuff since I've gotten back in MegaGlest again.
First off, does anyone still have Animal Cruelty (again), I never got a PM back from anyone about that.

also, where can I can get these mods, I've only heard them mentioned but couldn't find downloads: Final Strike, Robotech, Elementals, ~~Invaders~~ (I forgot this one goes by many names), Machinery.
