From what I found (maybe something changed later, after 2006) the song was released under a CC-BY-NC license (does not allow commercial use) and owners are maybe (not sure there) "Warner Bros. Records Inc. for the U.S. and WEA International Inc. for the world outside the U.S."

https://blog.creativecommons.org/2006/03/08/creativecommonswarnerbrosrecordsandmachineshoprecordingsannouncefortminorremixcontestatccmixterorg/

... besides this imo in the authors.data.txt you should change or remove:
Code: [Select]
###########################
#     MegaGlest Data      #
###########################
and somewhere close on the beginning you should write at least who did the scenario (yeah it is in the README.md but imo there even should be too), because now based on this file on my eye author is unknown and you did maps  :)

Oh, ok and what about the song? correct me if i'm wrong, but doesnt CC-BY-SA let you use the product, as long as you say and give credit to the creator? If not, what does not-copyrighted products mean in Germany?! And what do I do if so?

Thanks lol.

filux wrote CC-BY-NC (NC not SA).

NC would make it non-commercial. I suggest that this post might help make things more clear:
NonCommercial makes it not Free Culture (read: Free Software) thus can't be shipped by Linux distros etc.

Basically such thing like "not-copyrighted" not even exist  :P but it is often a mental shortcut for very permissive licenses. You can use song with CC-BY-NC license but you have to fulfill its terms what in your case mean at least, replace: "(The song is royaly free, no copyrights included)" for something like this: "(The song is licensed under CC-BY-NC)"

The Seventh Element Scenario - (New Download Link) + Update!
« Reply #33 on: 17 November 2016, 21:27:44 »
Hello MG people,

Due to some problems with github and mega.nz, I had to change the download link to The Seventh Element Scenario download.

New Download Link:

https://github.com/KeithSammut/the_seventh_element

The Seventh Element
CC-BY-SA Licensed
66.3 MB (69,603,034 bytes)
[Compressed]

Gameplay:

You were sent by the Titans to defeat the 4 Demonic Guardians in order to restore balance and bring back the homeland of the Titans. You start off with 1 archmage and a lame drake, and you must destroy the Guardians one by one to take their treasure. Once you destroy all the guardians, you will be promoted to a Titan and all the Titans join you to defeat the final huge wave of monsters.

Objectives:

You must research teleportation for swift particle and unit evading. You must defeat the Giant Demon (Located at North East of the map) to collect it's treasure and research levitation in order to defeat the Giant Stone Golem (Located at South West of the map), take it's treasure and forge a stone shield. Once you've armoured your archmage, you must defeat the Hydra (Located at North West of the map) and then defeat the Darkness (Located at South of the map).

This Scenario is hard to get in the first few tries, but it's very enjoyable and I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it :)

Thanks,
Keith Sammut

I added this to the wiki @ https://docs.megaglest.org/Scenarios/List#List_of_Scenarios

I saw some scenarios already on that list that weren't in the mod center, so didn't see a reason why yours shouldn't be added to the list.

If the info needs any changes, or if you have anything else to add, I'd suggest going ahead with the edit. Though I'm not on the MG Team, afaik, that's what the wiki is for. ;)
