Please I need to understand how megaglest AI interacts in the game, how it selects its actions to respond to human player's actions?
One thing the AI does rather predictably is make air defense units (totems, air pyramids, towers of souls, air ballistas, etc) high priority targets. For instance, they will tend to attack totems and ignore nearby enemies, unless they are being attacked.
Another thing I've noticed is they typically prefer to scout in straight lines. I've seen expert players make bases off in the corners or the sides, and the AI doesn't find them until much later in the game, or if they see enemy units going to the base within their sight range the AI will be "led" to the "hidden" base.
