I've just discovered this excellent game. Just a couple of things
1) You really need a manual, people's suggestion of a wiki is a great idea. It works especially well over at wesnoth.org
2) Perhaps you need a couple more factions, 2 probably (3 at a push). Something interesting an non-generic, like a spiritual faction. I've left some more thoughts on the faction poll.
3) I'm really astounded at how well, smoothly and nicely this runs on my old computer with it's old nvidia graphics card. That's some excellent, skilful programming.
