How should left-click behavior work in Glest/GAE?

I'm looking at some of the code related to a performance issue reported on slower machines and I decided that this is a time to look at this.  Personally, I would like to be able to select only one unit when I left single-click.

Well it looks like people want option 1 or 3. The easiest plan seems to be making it option 1 and then adding an xml value for option 3 later.

Not xml. In the ini. (Big difference there.)

Allow the .Ini system

Glest has always been about freedom of customizing and self-deciding. if you allow this to be customized in the .ini file, it will stretch that customizing capability within Glest. It is only my opinion, however. Still, it is only natural that Glest allows total customizing, considering this left-click decision will play a vital role in combat.
