is there a way to set the flying altitude of a unit?

This can only be done visually by editing the model animations.

Abet, they can still get trapped in tileset objects, etc, if their "height" is too low. I'd really like to see the game dynamically determining the height a unit should fly at in the future.

I'd really like to see the game dynamically determining the height a unit should fly at in the future.
I recall seeing some discussion of this from the MG devs, probably regarding cliffs.  I've no idea if anything has/will come of it, though.
